Este es un extracto de un video del 2004, con una intervención de Eduardo Galeano, donde se refiere al manejo de la "democracia" mundial por parte de 3 organismos, Banco Mundial, Fondo Monetario Int y el Consejo de Seguridad de la ONU, que a la vez están manejados por los 5 países más poderosos del mundo, ellos son los "voceros" de la paz mundial, y a la vez los mayores productores de armas, y sus "voces" se escuchan a través de los medios de comunicación y así se da la manipulación, la desinformacion y la incomunicaciónde, ejemplo de ello es Venezuela y Chávez.

Si Google tuviera una pantalla negra, teniendo en cuenta la gran cantidad de personas que lo usan, se calcula que se ahorrarían unos 750 megawatios/hora anualmente...

Como respuesta a esto, Google ha creado una versión negra, llamada
Blackle, con exactamente las mismas funciones que la versión en blanco
pero, obviamente, con un consumo de energía menor. Además de que se ve agradable.
